History of Golf Course
The Pontiac Elks Country Club is located in North Central Illinois between interstate 55 and Historic route 66 at exit 197 just off route 116. The 1919 original design of Tom Bendelow was expanded and redesigned in 1973 by Larry Packard. The result is 6,800 yards of championship golf that plays to any level of golfer. The five tee positions allow all players to enjoy the bent grass fairways and greens. The course offers a driving range along with practice greens that allow the player to work on all aspects of their short game. Check in at the pro shop that offers all the items you will need to enjoy your round. Locker rooms offer lockers and showers so that you can be refreshed and ready to explore the history and beauty of the Pontiac area after your round.
